This evening I've glued the landing lights to the wing leading edges.Needed a bit of work with a file to get them to fit.And as they weren't a perfect fit I had to sand them flush with the wing. Then I polished them back to clear.Ive also done a lot of sanding of fuselage, tail and wing joins.Nearly finished and then I will need to rescribe lost panel lines.Ive also assembled the engine cowlings which are made up of five pieces each.Ive tried the engines in them and in true limited run kit style they don't quite fit.As the cowlings are quite thick I will sand a bit off the insides with my motor tool.

Done a bit more filling of fuselage seams this evening. And I glued the pilots canopy on after masking it.The forward canopy section isn't a very good fit.So I've glued it on with superglue gel and filled the gaps with the same stuff.I took the precaution of coating the transparency in Kleer before hand so the glue wouldn't fog the canopy.Attached FilesComment
