    HASEGAWA 1/72 P-47 D BUBBLETOP

Here are a few pictures of my other tiny aircraft build. I believe it's an 80s vintage kit, there's no cockpit detail apart from the pilot's seat & an instrument panel decal! The fit isn't great either with steps on the wings (wing root & leading edge) and the tail planes.

I won't mention the swearing that accompanied fitting the cowling...

The finish on the wings is looking patchy as it's been rubbed down prior to a 2nd coat.

All & any comments are welcomed as I'm trying to learn!

    Cheers

    Patrick

Looking good so far. What do you mean 'tiny'? I'd see any other scale as 'huge'!

Doug, when you're used to 1/35 scale armour where mistakes can be covered with a dash of mud, this aircraft building is a whole new ballgame!

Hence the term "Braille scale" right?

Nice work on dealing to those gaps and the chrome looks awesome mate.
