Wait a moment, the only kit eduard produced which included the flaps was the Royal Class edition. Is this the Royal Class one? By the way I love PE and always get eduard sets whenever I can and when I have the money to do so

                Great work Peter

I don't mind using PE but I find that sometimes you don't need to add all the PE you get for the kit

Heres how it looks i have now hid the cockpit inside the two halves and also done the under carriage well sides, so i hope i can get the rest of the aircraft looking like my cockpit.

Agree with that Ian. Got a load for the the Airfix merlin. I must have half of them left. One difficulty of attaching the stuff as you need to remove in built parts in the plastic. Two some of the in built parts are as good if not better than the PE. Third some PE does not fit well into place. Fourth some bits are so complicated for the result given I decided I had better things to do. But some bits do enhance the model and when painted fit in well.
