            Excellent work from a pretty basic kit. I've had my eye on the USAAF crew myself to liven up the odd build, and this has convinced me. Lovely base too - did it start life as a picture frame, by any chance?

                John, super work. An old kit has turned into a fabulous looking model. Love the base and presentation, I think the figures bring the scene to life. Was the Bell P-39 Q name plate in the kit or is that home made?

                  Yes Doug your spot on there mate old picture frame with a Polaroid of some barges from a car boot cheap as chips it was and yes Joe the name plate was in the kit attached to the sprue just took my razor saw to it cleaned it up and super clued it to the frame added a bit of black primer and dry brushed with some silver . Thanks everyone for your comments and help and advice I really appreciate it cheers John
