    Eduard 1/48 bf 109 E-4 Weekend Edition

Here's my new try at a thing with wings!

Although it's the cheaper option without any photo etch or canopy masks, the detail of the kit is excellent. Fine panel lines, subtle rivet detail & a full engine / cowling machine gun display option.

As usual, I've started with the office. You can see my rather poor attempt at a harness! I know they shouldn't go over the back of the seat, but attaching them correctly was beyond me!

              Fuselage joined up.

Ignore the white paint, it's just to show where the seams need attention.

Wings joined & wheel wells painted in 02

Undercarriage done (tyres to be weathered later)

That's one of the best cockpits I've seen and with no pe it makes all the more refreshing to see , did you use paper for the seatbelts ?

                    Top work Patrick

Alan, no I used normal masking tape & fuse wire for the buckle-type thingys!
