    Cadillac of the skies

As Iv now built 2 tanks I thought I'd have a go at some aircraft! Picked up 2 of the airfix starter sets this morning (got to start somewhere right?)

The p-51 and the spitfire! At £7 each they won't go wrong

    Wish me luck

On the other hand if it's the new tool Airfix P-51D you won't need much luck at all.

Um, at an Airfix stockist? This http://www.airfix.com/north-american-mustang-iv-starter-set-1-72.html contains the new tool P-51D which has been around for a while now. Or you can buy it as a P-51D Red Tails kit for cheap as chips, and if that doesn't float your boat you can get it as a F-51D in Korean markings.

Not bad first aircraft Stuart. The pictures are a bit grainy so it is difficult to see detail but they look good.
