    BAE harrier 1/72 (Airfix)

I thought i would try my hand at a little model so this was the first for a while lol, very easy to put together but it needed something to look at,well you lot know me,so i scratched a little engine together, the decals will be put on after the fat bloke with the white beard has been. ho ho hoooo, also can i point out that using an airbrush without the top on certainly is a messy job

Good progress Ole. Just doing the same Finished a long build 1/48 and wanted a relaxing 1/72 short build to restore equilibrium.

Cannot beat a Harrier. the WW11 threw up lots of interesting aircraft but post war I find very mostly uninteresting. But the Harrier is a very special type.

That really brings it to life. Have you got any photos on how you went about scratch building the engine. Or can you post a brief description of materials and techniques.

I don't ask for much lol.

If you can't ill just enjoy looking at the build.

all the materials used were plasticard stretched sprue and a reference pic from the web,i made the engine kinda look like the real thing but its only 1/72 so i cheated slightly, didnt want to push my luck and slice myself lol.although it looks ok i`m still wishing i had done a little more to it as its open
