"You must be a perfectionist with no equal!"

No not atall, I just hate to be frustrated 3 times in a row with no way of getting the result I want and messing up the model every time!

It's just not worth the hassle

Building the airframe was a piece of pie, I did however TOTALLY over-estimate my poor rigging skills

Great looking model there. I love the colour. Rigging, yes such fun. I like to drill the holes first (before any construction starts) using the smallest drill in this set.

For 1:72 the hole is still a bit too big, but it's ok. And at this scale, I don't bother fitting rigging eyes, just CA straight into the hole.

I broke my 0.2mm bit and thought I could get away with just glueing the ez line to the structure.

It works OK on one end but as soon as it is tentioned and glued to the oposite side it just doesn't take.

I sometimes need to use a CA accelerator. I don't know why sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, atmospherics I guess.

That's a real shame Theuns, your Tiggie was looking really good. Is it rescuable from the trash? It helps sometimes to just put it aside for a while then return to it with fresh eyes/outlook; hopefully that's the case.

With Mike on this, hope you can retrieve it, it was looking so good. Even without rigging it would have made a nice model on the shelf.

That's a sad news, I was liking it.

                    Next one will be better.

That's a real shame as it was looking very nice. rigging can be very frustrating at the best of times I've had a few battles myself.I still have a few in the stash to do I have all the reverent tools and materials for the rigging but know its going to be a test of my patience and karma so until my mind is in the right place I won't tackle them good luck with your next attempt

I will be ordering some 0.3mm drils soon and I am sure that will solve my problem :-)

If there is noe thing that really ticks me off it is when a model gets the better of me ....

So I got another onr of these kits and hopefully this time it wil go better :-)

The fuse is all buttoned up, now I need to paint the wings seperately before putting onto the fuse.
