Ok made a boo boo with this. Whilst 'handling' it i dropped it and broke off one of the u/c legs. Have put it back in but it's not sitting totally straight. You probably wouldn't notice when it's displayed but i know

Just sprayed the underside with Tamiya XF-53 (Natural grey) with a splash Tamiya X-2 (white) to weather it a little. Looks ok but in doing this i have totally forgotten to pre-shade it.... DOH! Oh well i'll remember for the next one.... honest

And so the fun begins. Started painting the invasion stripes on. Have decided to do the back end first and wait until it's completely dry before starting on the wings

Only one little area of bleed whilst doing the booms and considering the difficulty i had in masking it i can accept that. Well chuffed with how they've come out.

I can now remember why i much prefer working on bigger scale stuff lol

Cheers Tony. They were a pain to mask up at times but they've turned out well i think. Getting towards that home straight now

Painted the Olive Drab tonight using XF-62. Added a little white to try and weather it a little. Looks ok

Painted the front of the engine cowls and spinner caps yellow tonight. took me an age to mask around the curves and with hindsight i should have painted these first then masked off the other way and then painted the grey/OD. But it's don't now and once i've klear'd the yellow i'll make a start on the NMF nose.

Didn't go on too bad Steve. Had a problem with one spinner but once i stripped it with revell cleaner it was fine. Just sprayed low pressure and low paint volume, making sure it dried before i sprayed a little more. I now know why i dislike working with this scale though. I have fingers like pigs.......

Few more pics of it. Added the exhausts. They are only slightly rusted as i only ever seem to heavily rust my exhuasts these days
