I haven't built a biplane before, so here we go.
Some 20 years ago I was fortunate enough to have flown in a New Standard D-25 biplane at Fantasy of Flight in Florida USA.
While that was not a Stearman, this build brings back some fond memories.

I can't imagine trying 1/72 anymore Steve, I have all the magnifying devices, but unfortunately my left eye is pretty useless, so I'm working with one eye and judging distance is quite a challenge. It's a b*gger getting old mate ;-)
WELL done Garry nice to see you doin a plane a little easyier than those big ships a-int it as im finding out but still a struggle when the parts dont fit

I really like the look of this kit. Your findings might result in me having to spend more money. Anyway, the detail looks good, and the cockpits seem nice and open. Nice work so far.
I've made a start on adding some colour to the fuselage
And the wing struts
As usual I have run out of colours, so I will have to wait for the postie now.
