And the crazy thing is, I can identify every control, indicator, lever and switch in the cockpit. I have a copy of flight simulator X and bought an Me-262 model to go with it. I think by now if I actually wanted to, I could fly the real thing...

Several major sub-assemblies have been completed. wings, engine pods, main landing gear fairing doors attached. Fuselage halves ready to go together. Radar, electronics, oxygen bottles and master gyro compass ready to go. Should be fully complete by, Sat. Maybe. I've said things like that before and...

We have the wings, engine pods, and fairing doors. Next is all the aft equipment, the radar unit, oxygen bottles and master gyro compass. Next is 35th scale Major Walter Nowotony next to the 32 scale cockpit of the jet that I am building for him. next is a seat back shot of the cockpit, hopefully showing the crinkly leather pattern that I was going for. I may need more glue soon, my tubes are running low...

That is really great mate. I got the Trumpeter 1:32 Me 262A-1a with the Eduard BIG ED set as well. Unfortunately, when I looked at the sprues, the "clear" engine covers were frosted, and not really clear. I noticed that the Tamiya and zoukei mura 1:32 "clear parts" are like this as well. I really do not get this. What is the point?

Only a few parts left to attach (tail stabilizers) and the canopy bits. So far, with only a few pfennigs sitting over the nose gear, it sits fairly well without much coaxing. I will make those connections permanent, when it is finally finished. Not much mojo today to complete it, mostly detail paint, but we'll see. Maybe tomorrow.
