Here is the cockpit, without seats, all came together well. There were no instructions for their 3D detailing set, hopefully I got this right, there are more interior details to add in due course.

          The Kits World 3D Decals

Again no instructions but looking at pictures below is how I should attach the first part.

That's right, the seatbelt looks as if it is sized for a 1/24 scale kit, not 1/32. It is unusable.

I have to decide whether to source another set of seatbelts elsewhere or see if I can put something together that looks vaguely right from just the straps.

          Note to self:
You really must not bother with Kits World 3D decals. Experience tells me that they
1/ May have poor register (not these)
2/ Details are significantly inferior to other 3D detailing sets such as Quinta Studios,
3/ There are no instructions for many sets, (those that they do provide are online)
4/ They have a lot of sizing issues. Some major like this kit, some only minor.

Wonderful progress and some superb details. Shame about the Kits World decals. They are certainly not worth having. I seem to remember that once before you used them and were disappointed.

The time came, the time that I was anticipating with a little dread, the time to join the nose to the main airframe. Bear in mind we are talking about some complex shapes from multiple pieces, the room for error and potential for disaster was high.... Few companies can really pull it off, Tamiya, Zoukei Mura perhaps but this is Italari who don't have the best reputation.....

                  Well.....

...... it don't get better than that. It will need a little filler on the sides and bottom but thats it.

Here are the seats. I used the straps only and made the best of these. Not totally accurate but at a distance they don't look too bad at all. Incidentally, I found the register to be so poor I had to do some hand painting on the straps. Stay well away from Kits World. For my IDS version I will try to source a Quinta set, they look amazing but cost nearly £60, that's for a full interior detailing set as well as seat belts.

I have been also working on a number of other sub assemblies including the stores. Fit is very nice indeed, no issues.

All credit to Italeri and also to your prior construction, that nose fit is sublime. £60 on something that works well is better value than spending much less on something which is useless.

This looks like a most excellent kit. And build I must add. Shame about those harness sets. A point worthy of complaint to the manufacturers.

Below you can see that the swing wing mechanism is still working well. it seems quite strong and well engineered. Much better than the Revell 1/32 Tonka.
