Meng 1/48 Me 410

    Hi all,

This is the start of my build of the Meng Models Me-410 B2/U4

As you can see from the box, it's the bomber-killer with the 50mm gun

As is traditional , I've started with the cockpit! I painted it RLM 66 & then lightened it up with a touch of white in the mix.

    First the pilots bit

The instruments are (badly!) painted in accordance with nothing other than my imagination

    Then the rear gunners station

A quick silver drybrush, the Eduard seatbelts & we're done. I'm not going to bother with a wash.

    Thanks for looking

    Patrick

Thanks guys! I really like the lines of the 410, it's like the German Mosquito.

To speed things up, I'll probably cut some corners - the cannon gunbay under the pilots cockpit can't be seen, so I'll probably skip that area.

The cannon can be recycled into another project

Nice start. I like the 410 too. Never heard of Meng as a brand, I'll be interested to see this one.
