    B29 Old Battler

    Finally found a bit of spare time to continue this build, bomb rack compleated, painted and decals on (nightmare 32 of em) and installed [ATTACH]103534.IPB[/ATTACH]

    , cockpit, crawl tunnel and rear section installed,[ATTACH]103535.IPB[/ATTACH]

    [ATTACH]103537.IPB[/ATTACH]

    bomb bay doors attached, and front undercarriage,

    [ATTACH]103538.IPB[/ATTACH]



    cockpit glass painted and installed and side windows, gun turrets in position although havent glued guns in yet leave that to last still a bit to do dont want to catch them.


    Gave the body a coat of paint Olive Drab and Neutral Gray, with a coat of gloss varnish, but will be in satin when compleated. Now starting on the wings and engine detail.

                    Nice to see a B-29 in olive drab as most you see built are in bare metal finish/ aluminium so well done up to now


                    Always looking for new ideas and you may have tweaked an interest for a later project ( over the ordinance you put in as well ) how long it take to decal

                        Got a few photos of the B-29 at duxford. It is in superb condition. Will have to put up those for you.
