Tamiya 1/48 F-51d

Another shake 'n bake Tamiya kit.

Cockpit detail is nice and the fit is good, very little filler needed.

I shot some dark alluminium then some airframe alluminium alclad over gloss black with gun pannels end exhaust[ATTACH]104301.IPB[/ATTACH]

pannels masked in dark allu.

Rudder is silver dope.

Yes I used alclad dark alluminium and airframe alluminium, then after decals alclad semi matt clearcoat.

That looks very nice, I have a P51D in my stash and just seeing the finish you've achieved with Alclad iam now eager to start mine.
