    Tamiya 1/48 A10A Thunderbolt II

OK, here goes then - well as you can see, not quite. I have done some work on this.

Rattle can primer (halfords) and I have painted a few bits. For some reason I added some very thin wash to provide some pre-shading but it is a tad pointless as I am painting with a brush, but ho hum, it is done now and will not make too much difference. The tyres are also glaringly black so they will need toning down too.

    Anyway this is the start.

And some progress shots. I have most of the ordnance painted to some degree or other (the green ones nearly complete, hellfires being white will require a coat or two more to look right.

The seat is also done now with PE so I need to put the office into the fueslage, PE for the front undercarriage is very nice too but more to go in that, however I will smooth off the filler first. Wings are just on for photo purposes, they are not glued on yet.

                          Been a while....

OK, the main parts are put together as you can see, rough outline of the camo done. I still have some PE and not attempted any of the undercarriage yet. The office is a real trick to get in! It would be better to install before putting the halves together. I also put some weight in but it doesn't seem enough. I think it will need a stand.

The paint looks poor but it is just a quick outline with a single coat so some work to go. Anyway pics.

Oh, I probably have a set of print-scale decals spare, I'll be doing one form 354th TFW from the 1st Gulf War (Experts-choice one - the bigger sheet in the previous post).
