Cheers guys. I'm enjoying building this kit. It can be made better with the PE and possible resin guns (still trying to find metal ones). But i'll do that on he next one i build

Not done much to it lately as i've been busy in th garden. Also had to fix my pc and laptop

So here are the latest pics

I've added the wings, nose and drilled out the exhaust shrouds. Just started building the undercarriage and masking the canopy

I had planned to do an easy scheme but i've just had an idea of how to do a hard one. So i might experiment on this one

Very nice work here Allyne. Revell seem to have come on leaps and bounds. Is this an original Revell kit or a bit like my daughters F104 an old mould from another manufacturer, monogram in the 104's case ?

It's an oldish mould Colin. It's out of production now but can still be picked up on evilbay occasionally. There are some issues with the shape of the engines but it still looks like a Bf110 to me so that's all that counts. The cockpit is nicely detailed and is still really acceptable by todays standards

                Hi Colin

If your lucky you can still pick one up at Modelzone. It's not listed on their website anymore but I have seen it in their Norwich and Cambridge branch.

Not worked on this for ages due to family holidays and work commitments. But i've finally got the canopy masked and am now starting to put the aeriel array onto it. It's going to be a long process me thinks.

                    Hi Allyne

Great masking must have taken you ages. Those aerials look like they are going to be real fun.

I cheated Vaughan. I used Eduard masks lol. But still took ages to fit. I learned to use masks after free-handing my 1/72 He111 canopy. Now that was a labour of love and probably why i wear glasses so much lol

I think your very sensible. It will make all the difference to the end result defiantly worth the money. Glad your back on the case as you say it's been a while.

It's getting there. Very slowly though. Array is very fragile when fitted

Hi Allyne looking very good a lot of hard work put into it so far. Would it not have been better to put the aerial array on last just in case they get knocked ?
