Ade's F-4F Phantom II WTD 61 "Flight Test"

After a very short voting period the Phantom just edged it over the Spitfire, so here we go.

Feel free to pull up a chair, I'll try and post as many progress shots as I can, this is going to be a huge build for me and the decals at the end look very daunting!

Here's the box and sprue shots.

The Mars bar is to give you an idea of how big the decal sheet is

Good, good. Is that a mini Mars, a standard Mars or a 20% extra Mars?

Just a little update on the office, the decals went on nicely and dried nice and tight to the plastic detail. The seats are now in the front nose section and I have to say its a terrible match up on the two halves, I'll need to so some major seam work if I'm going to have perfect gloss black paint work.

                            Hi guys and Gals,

Just wondering if I should add " Remove Before Flight Tags" to my build?

Also is it worth getting the metal under carriage? Looking at the one in the kit it seems details enough.

                            Thanks in advance

                            Adrian
