That cockpit looks real nice, I remember buying a phantom a few years back in the same scale and from Revell and the fit was terrible.

I have a set of PE "Remove Before Flight" tags I will never use if you want them Adrian, I believe they are 1/35 scale but at that sive I guess it won't make a spit of a difference. If you want them PM me your address and I'll put them in an envelope and post them off to you.

                Couple of nice bright pictures

Seems a bit alien to me to be spraying an aircraft in anything other than drab colours

I'll post more pictures as soon as the masking comes off.

I like it! So satisfying to see something other than camouflage going onto a military jet.

Well, I followed the painting instructions and then went to apply the decals,

I had around 8 decals all nicely on when I noticed the next one wold leave a 3mm gap.

This means the bright orange will show a strip where it should be black,

I've thought about masking and painting the black but think it will show with it been a gloss black.

I've emailed Revell in hopes that I can get some more decals, if I can I will remove the ones I've done already and respray the paint but leaving a wider line.

Here's a quick pic,, basically the black should be full at the leading edge.

Right now it's boxed up and put away till I get my mojo back

Any advice, comments more than welcome.

I'd just paint it Adrian, if you applied a gloss coat over the model it should blend in.

I've considered this, but if you look close at the rear of the tail and the rear of the wing, I should have set the decal 3mm backward, now I'd have to also mask and paint the checks to match up.

What I'm saying is I buggered it up, should have started with the rear tail decal and worked forward.
