    Eduard 1/48 Hellcat Dual Combo

    Hi,

after a long break from posting (my last and first posts were on my Hurricane in November) i have decided to put up my build of the Eduard 1/48 Dual Combo Hellcat. i have only started the 1st hellcat so far, and i am building the first decal option, i believe no 132 of No 800 squadron, based aboard the HMS Emperor on May 8th 1944. i was going to airbrush the model, but i have being havens problems with my airbrush so decided to use my trusty humbrol flat brushes.

You won't have much following to do at this speed.

thanks for all the kind feedback.

as predicted by flyjoe180, you didn't have to wait long. just now i finished putting the decals on. i will be making a diorama for this aircraft on the deck of the HMS Emperor. the only issues are the other hellcat in the set has to be a MK2, and the only other aircraft that flew of the Emperor is a MK1. also, i want to have it just hooked on the arrestor wire, but it doesn't have a pilot. any suggestion would be appreciated. i was surprised and happy that, whilst i was doing the decals, two Spitfires were circling my house at fairly low altitude, which was pretty cool! (i only got a photo of one of them)
