Wee but before work this morning. Vallejo primer inside the fuselage which goes on beautifully and the finish is nice, tamiya semi gloss black on the machine guns.

I was thinking about dry brushing tyre black over the top, I have never painted a gun before so suggestions on painting it to look spanking new would be appreciated.

Help!! Would this be ok to use here? Best I could get for money quickly.

Couldn't find many pics on line to see what a prototype used.

Little update on this... Don't like these harnesses, too thick, they delaminate and need glued back together so they then become rigid and look off.

Maybe someone could advise if you are actually meant to do laminate these and use them in half so they look better and work better? I think I did them wrong haha

Also I forgot the fire extinguishers so they need painted and glued in while I do some filling of the fuselage. Oops

Doh. I looked up another website... Apparently you do remove the backing paper. Not in the instructions and not obvious at first. Only after making the belts did they start to peel apart.

Ffs haha even the most simple jobs can be arsed up. Maybe I'm not very good at this modelling malarkey

We've all been there Doug! Cock-up City is a favourite destination of mine

Still, it's all looking good so far

Cheers, it's funny how you don't see many of the flaws until you use the camera close up... I will be using my magnifying light more on my next builds to try to improve my finishes I think.

Model's looking good Dougie, nice work on the interior. Where did you get those seat harnesses, BTW?

The red plane (and the blue biplane next to it) are from the Porco Rossi movie.

Ta, this is meant to look out of wrapper so nothing is being done at all. Nothing fancy that is haha, it's got to look like the film lol

Cheers guys, Appreciated. I bought the kit from Japan on eBay. For maybe £15-£20. The detail is great on the kit, it is really really fine and well moulded. Worth the money easily.
