    academy 1/72 T-6 Harvard

I am usy with my 1/32 Tamiya P-51d for the MOY in January. It is such a high pressure build for me that I started this little 1/72 Academy T-6 Harvard as a distraction buld. It will look like on that is based at the field I work.

As the canopy is closed , and SAAF Harvards had the extra canopy framing I went for a simple interior as very little is visable anyway.

Hi Tony, you will love the 1/48 Italeri "spam can" I built one before and have another in the stach that I will do in the standard SAAF dayglow scheme.

I am building this little one for the MOY 1/72 props at the end of Jan.

Not allot to show, primer went on this mrning, then the gloss black enamel. Will start pollishing that next week for alclad.

Here is my attempt at replicating the pollished alluminium.

3 coats of alclad airframe allu. I found that if I use pollished allu in 72'nd scale it looks to "mirror like"

Another T6 Theuns, nice choice. That polished metal finish looks superb.

Looking nice Theuns. It's nice to have a play in 1:72 once in a while. The results obviously come a lot quicker.
