    Zvesda 1/72 MiG 21

    Hre is my latest kit, Zvesda MiG 21 Bis. The detail is actually very nice for this scale, I just added a harnass to the bang seat.


    I will be doing the Polish AF scheme i

    Good choice Theuns it looks a very nice kit. The detail on the seat is very good , the harness just finishes it perfectly , looking forward to seeing this come together , cheers tony

                  I got the fuse together ,a bit of a fiddly job to get it all buttoned up with the few locator pin but if you do it systematically it works best.


                  The fin to fuse fit may need a little filler, as will the wingroot fit.


                  The cockpit sedtil is actually really good for this small scale, the glareshield however kept falli ng past the pins, it is now secured but I will have to do the paint over

                    Airframe went together OK.


                    My way to simulate bare metal is airframe allu alclad over gloss black, masked off in different panels to show different "tones/alloys" without being to dramatic.


                    Next weathering and either Polish of USSR decals.....still not sure wich one.
