    FW190 f8 1/32

Hi all I have been having great fun with things with wings recently, so I've started this. Cockpit is in fuselage is together with the canon and engine mounts, hope you will come along for the ride.

I've got the seat and I've got the beer ( I'll be watching this one for sure ) if it's going to be anything like the last "Owl" then this "Butcher bird" is going to be awesome.

          Great start Scott

          Regards

Thanks guys, I've just sanded down the seam lines with the gently scrape of a scalpel and they've gone completely, revell really are upping their game.

Not really an aeroplane man but just bought this kit on evil bay so will watch with interest and try and pick up some tips and try and not do my usual butchery on planes.

Becoming a bit of a factory up there Scott, talk about churn them out I am sure you will take everything you learned on the UHU and make this even better, if that is possible. This is possibly my favourite German aircraft. I built an Eduard 1/48 one years ago with a few figures. It is the only aircraft I would never throw out and, though I say it myself, is the best build I ever did.

I've seen a couple of builds of this kit & it's definitely a good 'un! The cowling panels are the only bit to watch out for, but that's par for the course.

Looking forward to seeing more Scott

Watching to see how this works out, I passed on a FREE collection of unbuilt plane models some years ago {over 100} Everything from puny bi-planes to giant B52s and the like.

Boy do I regret it nowops: But I still have two from the 80s that have survived, I think I'll look into more in future

My preference would be WW2 prop jobs

I think it would be good for us turret heads to branch out into other modeling subjects.............Jim
