I may be slow on the uptake here Steve ( hard shifts at work ) did this Pfiell have the twin 30mm cannon in the wings and also the two nose mounted 30mm plus the cannon through the spinner?


It's just I remember when I built my 1/48 version ( VG + PH No 102 ) it had the two nose mounted MG or cannon. Also carried a bomb internally.

Nearly! It had 2 x 30mm MK 103 cannons in the wings and 1 more of the same firing through the spinner. Over the engine it had 2 x 20mm MG 151 cannons.


The standard armament was the same, minus the two wing guns. My version was one of two 'zerstorer' prototypes, so rather than a bomb, the bomb bay housed an additional fuel tank, the wing tanks had been reduced in capacity to make room for the cannon.

This is now finished, except for the blob of Blu-Tac holding the canopy in place


It warrants a quick snap shot. I will take some 'proper' photos and do one of my imaginary walkarounds when I get a chance and post it in a 'completed' thread.
