    Next on the bench


    F2 Banshee by Academy in 1/72


    been in the stash for years, just never fancied building it


    comes with two sets of decals, both for VF-11 of USS Coral Sea in 1956.....one is an overall blue, the other grey upper, white lower

    I did this little kit a few years back. On my one the decals for the blue plane was not well in register :-(

      That 'll be Academy for you. It's a shame because I really like their kits.


      It will be nice to see this built. There are some nice looking 50's jets out there and this is one of them, well for me anyway.

          Looking at the pic of the decals , it seems that those are more in register than mine was, the red centre bars in the insignea look more centered.Maybe those are better.

            Doesn't look like there's many parts, but what there is looks good.

              Here is the one I did. Just take note, add lead to the nose, it is a tail sitter.

                i added a .45 calibre lead ball weighing 140 grains plus some plasticine before i sealed the two halves, should be more than enough
