    papa 695s 1/100 Tamiya A-7A Corsair

This is one of my all time favourite aircraft and I plan to build all the scales of it I can. So I'm going to start with this one.

I may have one of the Tamiya 1/350 versions if you're interested - FOC. I'll have a look when I get back from the salt mines later today. PM your address if you do want it.

                No problemo.

I take it you'll be doing a 1/32 in your collection?

I came across this a few years ago. This guy can't stop moaning and complaining about the Trumpeter kit .....

.... but I can't see why when you look at what he managed to do with it!

There are some discrepancies with it about the intake and tail plane I think, but I'm no rivet counter. And I'm after a 1/32 one but I may get that at Newark later this year when I go with Tony. I've got a 1/144, 1/72, 1/48 and soon a 1/350 to be going on with.

Got some of this put together, not a bad fit but some filling needed. Also the panel lines were very thin so I needed to rescribed it after sanding the filler. Put some primer on to see if any more work needs doing,

                    And it does.

Nice start Ian , I believe these Tamiya 1/100 kits are re-issues of a range originally made by Ben hobby of japan. Ive seen a few different ones and they look very nicely moulded. cheers tony

It's been a while but I've got some paint on this now. I used the black basing technique.
