    Heinkel 219 UHU Tamiya 1/48

Another model that was started (2013) and later, for fear of painting the model, was stopped inside the box. It is time to give continuity and try to finish the model.

    The model.

    What I had already done.

    The interiors.

The model already with fuselage and glued wings.

    Doors, wheels and landing gear.

    The landing gear is ready.

I've already started to prepare more pieces to start painting the model.

    Regards

Beautiful job - what weathering techniques/materials are you using on the undercarraige?

I painted the landing gear with Tamiya's XF-22.

Then I applied shadows with a mixture of the XF-22 and black, very diluted (no fotos).

Finally a washing with Bitumen of Judea.

Same with the landing gear doors.

Superb work on the cockpit there Antonio. Looks like a very large plane, interesting to see how it will look when painted,

Me too Builder. I'm afraid some of the spot paint with the RLM 75. But let's see how it goes.

I started to prepare some pieces and paint them.

Mask and paint of canopy with RLM 66 .

              Propellers

The covers flames of the escapes.

I also painted with the RLM 76 the ailerons and flaps and the doors of the landing gear .

              And that's enough for now.

              Regards

Another stop but this time was not for lack of will but rather because I ran out of RLM 76. I found that it is not good to make requests for material on vacation. But finally the paints arrived.

I had not put images of the model because I thought the material would arrive fast. The He with the bottom and the sides of the fuselage already painted. He will need a shower, is with enough dust and then finish the RLM 76.

Let's see if there are no more setbacks.

                    Regards

It looks great. It will be nice to see the top coat go on.

                            Thanks Joe.

I started the work of weathering. I applied lights.

Lovely job you are doing with the paintwork.

Its a beautiful looking aircraft that deserves to be finished.

                              Hope it continues well.
