Peter you have a fellow builder in card I have 4 monsters to be built but like you I dont know where they are going to go
I have a B29 and bell x1 and a B52 and X-15 you can probably already see where they are going and to finally put the nail in the coffin so to speak a Vulcan BMK2 and SR71 all card and all 1/33 scale + 4 1/200 Hindenburgs each nearly 4ft long when they are built
One question have you used the kit parts or have you supplemented with them with additional card / plywood struts I will be following this one closely to see how you get on and hopefully pick up some tips on the way
Card is a very underated source where in actual fact some superb models easily rivalling convential kits and costing substantially less can be produced

At the moment I have put this on on the back burner for the time being as my heart is not in it.
I am going to revive this thread with a completely new build as the original has been trashed with the constant moving about from draw to draw
So here's the first part of the build and it benefits from laser cut frames.
This is taking shape well, utterly amazing how a few bits of cardboard can create such a great and detailed model. I’ll watch this build with interest.
Going a bit better this time around as I have got the hang of this build so I have added another section and body work on and now started on the bomb aimers position.
All wings attached and looking like an aircraft and I have started the starboard outside engine nacelle.
And after this one and my bismarck and titanic are finished no more card models
