      Thanks! I wanted the aircraft to look just as it did in 1989, but I had a hard time finding any pictures from that era with the exception of the "original" photos. I ended up using a mix of newer photos, the "old" ones, and Google Earth.

        I have to say that you really pulled it off!!!

        I've had a look at my 1/72 figures to see if I could donate a suitable one but none of them sadly looked like your father in the picture, but the little vignette and the info plate was spot on!
        This must be the best way to remember such a weird - in a way - event, finding a downed plan in the desert.

          Thank you, Jens. I truly appreciate your effort! He was right back in Libya, and had to get some fresh air :smiling3: Oh, and that little plaque is printed on some sort of high quality/heavy weight paper which my fiance provided me with. This was taped on top of another piece of high quality paper, and "washed" with AK's sand wash. It was her idea, actually
