Finally got the wings attached to the body and the tail wheel fitted.
And made a start on the two engines.

I can second this one. The round circles in the cockpit are part of the pit.

circles on the inside of the fuselage in the cockpit of the real aircraft were wooden disks glued to the sides to mount equipment on. My Tamiya 1/32 has these moulded as raised discs

Merlin's. Just today I was watching / listening to P & W R-2800 and Merlin's starting up (youtube) The Merlin is just so smooth in comparison.

Now started on the landing gear and I will only show one as the construction is the same for both.
And I have just finished off the first part on the first one[ATTACH]293891[/ATTACH][ATTACH]293892[/ATTACH]

More work done today got landing gear and one engine installed in one half of the engine bay plus I added a wash to the tyres.
Also got some more parts of landing gear painted and ready to assembled[ATTACH]293931[/ATTACH][ATTACH]293932[/ATTACH][ATTACH]293933[/ATTACH][ATTACH]293934[/ATTACH][ATTACH]293935[/ATTACH][ATTACH]293936[/ATTACH]

Here we are as of step 141 both undercarriage bays have now fitted with a bit of jiggery-pokery and the flaps are also fitted one engine will be left uncovered and one covered.
