I will make this Kfir into 2-faced plane - C7 version on the left while C2 version on the right, both IAF marking.
Right: C2 #874, 101 Tajeset Israeli AF (Two tone grey)
Left: C7 #543 "Zohar" The Arava Guardians Sqn, Israeli Air Force
(Green/Brown/Sand) which was vastly modified variant. The C7 included an improved J79-GEJ1E engine, 2 more hardpoints under the air intakes, better avionics such as the Elta EL/M-2021B radar, HOTAS configured cockpit and inflight refueling capability.
Pre-shading with Gunze 40 German Grey, following by Gunze 43 Wooden Brown & Gunze 72 Intermediate Blue. For right side, I use Gunze 308 FS36375 as base coat and slowly covered it with Gunze 307 FS36320, Gunze 306 FS36270 and finally darken the tone with Gunze 305 FS36118.
For left side, I use Israeli Air Force camouflage which is Green, Brown & Sand. I started with Gunze 313 FS33531, following with the IAF Green FS34424 which I custom mix it, finally seal the deal with Gunze 310 FS30219 which is darkest.
Leave it overnight to cure and dry completely, and then I clear coat with 2 layers of Gaia Ex-03 Ex-Clear to make sure the surface is smooth enough for decal work. As planned, I use IAF C2 #874 of 101 Tajeset Israeli AF for the right side meanwhile IAF C7 #543 "Zohar" The Arava Guardians Squadron for the another side.
Done decals work on the same night, spent like few hours for the job, seal it with Gaia Ex-03 Ex-Clear and will touch up the whole thing soon. Panel wash both side with AK-Interactive product - Ak2071 Paneliner for Grey and Blue Camouflage, it's dark enough for both camouflage patterns. Color fading and filtering randomly with Georgian Oil paint (Burnt Umber & Cobalt Blue).
Leave it to dry for 1 hours and top coat with Finishers フィニッシャーズ's Super Flat cort. The flat is highly recommend for both automobile and military. I use Mr.Weathering WC-02 Ground Brown to simulate the smoke and stain effects on fuselage & wing area - thinned with Zippo fluid and spray with low air-pressure.
For drop tanks' fuel leaking, I use AK's Kerosene leaks & stains + Aircraft engine oil to simulate the effect, do it layers and layers. Flat coat again with Finisher Super Flat cort after done everything. Proceed into landing gear doors - very easy job, wash with AK's Langing Gear wash and glue it with 3-seconds glue.
