The pylons supplied in the kit for the outer stations is incorrect for a SAAF craft so I though of building new ones from styrine sheer. Then I saw that if I just cut the kit one on the red line I can get somthing that is quite close to what I see in pix.so this is what I will do.

Since the SA post office had a strike in June my decals arrived here this week. Needless to say the parcle was open and I am sure they were very dissapointed to see no money inside ;-)
All great and well....such a pity that I ordered 1/48 and got 1/72 decals :-(

Sorry to hear about you delivery issues. I thought the postal service in the UK was bad enough but it looks like most countries suffer at the hands of the mail serviceComment

Indeed, the hassle that we have here is that the unions are to powerfull for the Gov to do anything to diccipline them as they need their vote next year. We go through this every few years so it is nothing new.
Anyway, I will get more decals later and complete this model

This model has been fighting mw all the way and I am now just beating it into submition so I can enjoy another build
The decals also were delayd in the post for months, when they got here they were the wrong size so I had to make another plan. Lucky that the SAAF at this stage of the bush war flew with almost no markings on the planes and those few that were on were heavly "ghosted"
