    Joe thanks for the kind words and yes it is ancient but is very fun to upgrade it just to see what my results are going to be. Sometimes it don’t hurt to get off the beaten path and go back to the roots of modeling

      Worked on the exhaust outlets made them out of a small scrap piece of brass then drilled some small holes in the engine cowling and place them in. I’m not like the canopy on this I may be re-ordering an aftermarket one it was very brittle and it broke and I have glued it back a couple times and I’m still not happy with it. Enjoy the progress pics

            I done A lot of hand painting today the inside of the main cowling, engine plate the inside of the landing gear all painted interior green and some other odds and ends like the prop blades, engine and front edges of the fuselage we’re painted Tamiya NATO black.

                    While waiting for more parts I detailed the engine with a Graphite pencil to give it a natural metal look and took the pencil and ran around the front end of the fuselage to give it a little more detail enjoy the pics

                          John. Thanks and its good morning for me. I owe the pencil trick to all you who build military models I have learned a lot. Building to me is more than a art now than modeling I take more pride in it. I never thought this little plane would look like this.
