    KINETIC Prowler EA-6B in 1/48

    Hi all,

This will be my first contribution to Scale-Models.co.uk :-)
Have not done that much and my pace is generally very slow.

Accessories used / to be used (so far):
    • AIRES 4487 - EA-6B Prowler ICAP-2 (late) cockpit set
    • WOLFPACK 48115 - EA-6B Prowler Wheel bay set for Kinetic
    • WOLFPACK 48114 - EA-6B Prowler Radar & Avionics set for Kinetic
    • EDUARD 48681 - EA-6B undercarriage for Kinetic
    • EDUARD 48684 - EA-6B electronic equipment for Kinetic
    • EDUARD 48672 - EA-6B exterior for Kinetic
    • MAW Decals 48008 - Formation Lights

    So here we go:

    The cockpit

The front Landing Gear and Wheels

    Electronics and Radar

    The Birdcage

    Under Construction...

    First test fitting...

Once again, thanks for having me....

Ok, so you reach to a point that you have to say enough! Enough, cause it will never finish.
So this is the best I could do so far. Everything glued in place and ready to go for the other side:

                The real thing....

                Some more detail...

What are you going to do to make the canopies the distinct gold tint

                      This is months fromnow.
I have to complete the engines compartment, the wings and then get to it.

Any good ideas more than welcome though!

                          Hi Dio
Great start on this, the comparison photo shows you have a real eye for detail and finishing. Don’t worry about the speed of build, I’ll take quality over quantity and day of the week....
                          Cheers
                          Tim
