      I have read that some guys have good success with spraying the inside of the canopy in very light coats of alclad gold.

        Yep, this should work... I cannot think of anything different to be honest. Maybe not Alclad but as a concept...
        Too premature for me though...

            Not sure about the Alclad gold. Lacquer based paint could damage the clear plastic.when I built the Airfix 1/48 TSR2 I used Tamiya clear orange thinned with Klear floor polish (the new one) which worked well

              Some more progress this week.
              The other side at the fuselage compartment is ready.
              The only things missing being some cabling and pipes...

                      Boxes and cables at the far back of fuselage done. Some more cabling and pipe work on the left side and off to the real business: the engine compartment.
