    Hawker Hunter, 1/72, Revell

just starting this for a Cold War GB somewhere else

aircraft aint my fave genre, always struggle but going to have a crack at this

lord knows how long its been in the stash........its got a ModelZone reduced label on it....£9.99 to £4.99!!

to my eye its one the most beautiful aircraft ever flown, a real classic

it comes with 4 options.....2 x RAF, 1 x Dutch and 1 x Belgian......all the same basic paint scheme but different decals obviously

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

Will be watching this build. My father used to work on these on 26 Sqn as an armourer during national service

          Hi Paul
It is a very beautiful looking plane. I think the kit you have is the original release in 2005? Great price you paid. I am sure you will do the kit proud.

I'll follow along too Paul, having built the Dutch variant many moons ago I didn't had any troubles putting it together.
            Have fun!

ps. Hunters are always great to see, here's the Leeuwarden one up and about each airshow season:

Paul. Depending where you are in t'norf you could go to the Yorkshire Air Museum and have a look at their static Hunters for some walkaround tips. I seem to recall they have at least three of them.
