    airfix 1/72 swordfish

    This is the new tool swordfish.
    I painted cockpit interior green and fabric red dope.

    The fuse was a PITA to put together, the bottom is seperate to thye sides and I had a hard time to line it up but wrangled it into place.

      Looking good. I built one of these some time ago. A really nice little kit.

          For accuracy’s sake, I’ll point out that the colour is named simply “Sky” — what it seems most people don’t realise is that “Type ’S’” refers to it being smooth (yet matt) paint for use on aircraft. Why exactly this has become tacked onto the name Sky only, I’m not sure.

          Anyway, the model looks good. Are you going to build it with the wings folded?

                  Is the camouflage sprayed? It looks like it, but very fine and in scale.

                    yup sprayed it on, I used prestic worms for a soft edge.
