Just about ready to start the weathering - the cockpit glazing has been a bit tricky to fit, I think the instrument panel is sitting a bit high - I've fettled it a bit, and now I need to use a little filler to fill in the small gaps........ Click image for larger version

For weathering, I'm going to use the airbrush, streaks with the airflow, and behind the exhausts. I think it'll be a gradual procedure. I realise I should have left the canopies off until the weathering was just about finished!! Oh well masking fluid out again!

Dave. What interior green did you use for the build? I have the Tamiya one and it says about blending three different colours.

          Al,
I used Vallejo ModelAir 71.305 Interior Grey Green - it looks a little light, but it darkens up with a wash................

I'm afraid that the Beaufighter had a bad landing accident...... OK, I dropped it, and broke off all the port rockets and snapped the undercarriage legs on one side.
I think it's salvageable ( some aluminium tube will be necessary ), but I'll put it aside, as I'm not in the mood for a tricky repair job.
I will return to it.................just not at the moment.

                        Hi Dave
What a shame but I doubt there is a modeller on here who hasn't dropped a model at some stage. Sometime damage is minimal but, like in this case, damage is bad. I'm sure you will sort it sometime in the future.
                        Jim
