    Airfix Boulton Paul Defiant 1/48

Thought I should start this one, as a in-between-other-stuff project.
More emphasis will be given to the external surfaces and I will try to stay away from any complex additions etc...

So, I begun with adding a few panel lines and creating some stretched metal effect.

I have one of these in my stash, so I'll be interested to see how well it goes together

Nice start and a very nice effect with the stretched metal. Will you be doing the whole model like this ?

That's the idea ( where it makes sense based on photographic evidence) but not sure if I ll make it.

A good start Dio how did you create the stretch metal effect?

Wow..... looks like a lot of hard work. You need to be really committed to carry out this type of modification!

It doesn't have to be everywhere. Just where photographic evidence suggests so. Will see how it goes :-)

2 hrs for this panel. I calculated that it will require 36 hours for the whole thing...
