    its going Dutch.....next step is some matt coat then final assembly.....keeping it simple, need it off the bench asap ready for next project

          Looking at those Sidewinders, how long are you supposing the KLu kept this thing in service, then?

            they only used Hunters for 6 years before moving to the F104 which they for 20+ years so who knows

              What I meant was: you’ve got what looks like two early model Sidewinders (AIM-9E, going by the long nose) on it, and two later models with the fins with the extra bit on the end (AIM-9L or M). That would mean this plane would still have been in service in the late 1970s Not impossible, of course.

                yanks didnt retire them til 1969

                thats the beauty of what ifs.......anything is plausible

                since im not an aircraft modeller theres not a lot in the spares box, had to go with what i had
