Gives a a great feeling when building.

Tamiya and one other manufacturer could pull off this well.

Who is the other one Barry ?

I have also done a test fit of the engines and you just cannot get a better fit than this.

I primed with black primer then sprayed MRP Rubber Tyre. When dry I used a stiff brush to brush on AK Interactive Dark Earth pigment, brushed dry. I finally use a softer brush all over to get the dusty rubber tyre look I wanted. Simplicity in itself.

They are MRP - their laquer solvent range is probably the best paint for models that you can get for the airbrush.

Recently, I was testing out a few new metallics, trying to sort out what exactly I want to use on the F-104. In that test, I came away rather impressed with Mr. Paint’s Super Fine Silver. Thi…

No Peter. I just brush the pigment in no liquid, best on a matt surface. That way you get that nice dusty effect.
