Got some painting done tonight. I first primered it with a flat chalk black to achieve the darkest blue as possible and to get a shade affect also. I will let this cure very well before I paint the lower silver camouflage.Click image for larger version

              Hi Lee
That paint job is excellent. Looks as if the masking was spot on.

Worked some more on the bird this morning. Painted the inside and cockpit interior green I might have over killed on the inside of the fuselage but I want to make sure when you peep in any place of this craft you’re not gonna see any overspray places. I also detailed the cockpit and picked out the details on side of the fuselage enjoy the pics Click image for larger version

                              Hi Lee
Cockpit and engine looking good. I doubt much of the engine will be seen when the cowling and the prop go on.

Still waiting to get some funds to buy a P-38 for the Group Build. That one will be done in NMF if i can get the right one. But a P-47 (and P-51D) is on my 'to do' list
