Iโ€™d agree with that Peter, itโ€™s much less aggressive. I use low odour white spirit (sansodor) for making washes out of oil paint and find underlying paint is not adversely affected. Smelly white spirit can strip the paint or leave horrible white residue tidemark.

Each to their own though and I daresay some of them feel the same way about my preference for automatics (cars that is, not guns).

Anyway, as a result of being busy I left the masking tape on the wings of my Thud for three days and now I've taken it off, I have some sticky residue left behind. What's the best thing to remove it - preferably without removing the paint and Klear varnish?
HI DAVE regards that stick in the van how did you get on usein the clutch ?

Hi Chris. I'm sure I answered this last week - maybe I didn't press the post reply button. :upside: :rolling:

No problems with the stick but I did get a couple of dashboard messages saying I wasn't pressing the pedal hard enough!

Dave. Cats, car, vans , planes , there has to be a link somewhere.:smiling3:. Glad you managed your road trip.
I was under the impression spraying cats with a grey under coat was currently banned, having said that is a really good effect.

Waiting for my Sansodor to arrive. I don't want to fit the wings until they're cleaned up - it's a BIG lump of plastic to move around and the front U/C leg would likely get damaged - so everything's on hold at the moment.
