I got this cheap off fleabay just something to 'throw' together, turns out it's actually a really nice little kit, I think someone who knows how to build a plane properly( not me lol) could do something really nice with it, good detail, engine cowling can be left removable and top of the cockpit as well, lots of detail inside.

This is a rebox of the Eduard Weekend model. You can get the Eduatd PE bits to really dress it up. Revell have reboxed several of the Eduard WWI 1/48 models, including the Sopwith Camel, Fokker Dr.I. Albatros D.III & Roland C.II, they don't seem to be produced in large numbers, and price compares favourably with the Eduard originals. They do appear at very good prices on ebay & pre-owned sites, well worth a look.

That does look like a nice kit, but then Dave points out, it's an Eduard.
Everything looks very nice. When I'm building a bi-plane, I find it easier to paint and decal the fuselage, wings etc all separately before the actual construction part. I know that sounds totally wrong, but it works for me.Comment
