There isn't any one way, Mark - it's going to be the method that you are most comfortable with, after a few models you'll find it! With biplanes, I generally finish the fuselage, then paint the lower wing top surface, and the upper wing lower surface before adding the wings - I like to rig biplanes, and this reduces the amount of tricky painting. If, however, like the Fokker DVII, it's covered in lozenge decals, you have to wing it!

      Hi Mark
Looks a nice kit and seems to have gone together well. I think these old biplanes make great models. Just the rigging thats difficult.

Revell did it in 1/72 John, are you thinking of that one?

Might well have been that Tim, this would have been in the early 60's . Woolies was the favorite shop on a Saturday for buying a model. Does that sound right ?

Just a quick update on this, coming together now,not sure I'll attempt the rigging to be honest, I have a 1.28 spad bit of crappy looking kit but probably a good one to have a go at rigging given the size of it.Click image for larger version
