Transparent yellow paint should do the trick.

Looking fine and old now. Nice work on the paint distressing.

          Looking mighty fine, Russell.
Last year when I modelled Dennis Copping's P-40 in the desert, I simply brushed his aircraft all over with some very watered down beige acrylics.
          Simple and did the trick.

Oop! Sorry . I've already mentioned this.......

ive done a bit more weathering detail today. I’m thinking about a final neutral wash for the final dust coat. I can’t seem to find your diorama, can you post a link?

Given myself a bit of a headache today...starting to get to the end game though. Bit of bird poop, some oil stains, aged canopy and more dust. Plus undercarriage on.Click image for larger version

Coming on well Russell. The canopy in particular looks excellent.....only improvement I would make is that the prop looks a little clean.

I wish I had that barn (and its contents, of course)!
Lovely model and a wonderfully original idea.
