Nice work James. The cockpit detail, specifically the ejection seat is amazing. I keep saying to myself, don't touch the black and yellow handles - check the safety sears are in!!! Brilliant.

Weathering commenced. Top done, bottom still to do.
Need to fit hard points for sidewinders which I forgot, entry ladder, canopy, rear seat, arrestor hook and then it will be done.

          Hi all,

Does anyone know what this is? Looking at photos it doesn't seem to be a light but the instructions say it should be red.
I have also looked at night photos and there's no light visible here?
(It is not the arrestor hook).Click image for larger version

                    So I am almost done.
                    All that remains is:

                    Aircraft:
                    Fit steps.
                    Matt varnish entire aircraft.
                    Fit canopy.
                    Fit pitot tubes x 4.

                    Base:
                    Paint sides black .
                    Weather base.
                    Cover underside with velvet.
                    Fit feet.
                    Matt varnish.

Hoping aircraft will be done tomorrow and base by the end of the weekend and this thread can finally be moved to the completed aircraft section after far too long!!
Might even get a proper camera out for some photos.

All that remains is to fit the canopy.

                          Great result James.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.
