Having fun is the best part of modeling Collin.......the second best part is figuring out how to have it! :tongue-out3: I'm sure you'll get it all sorted and this will be a great addition to your model family.:thumb2: Rick H.

OK! Own up! I've attended all the visits to Cosford and am in fact one of the founder members of the Cosford Massive seen here - so who's airbrushed me out of this picture?Comment

Good question. I'm fairly sure Ron got a passer by to take the picture - so, what were you doing during this role call ?Comment

More bits have been liberated from the sprues. Airfix have provided templates to help with the alignment of the camouflage. A nice touch, except there are seams that need filling and sanded.
Which means, after a bit of work, you've lost your lines. But still, at least the seams aren't to bad.
These are the bits for the front wheel well. Not a bad level of detail. The main gear wells are detailed to the same level as well.
Then the wheel wells get fitted without any drama, along with the bomb bay internals and a rather robust frame for a bit of strength.
So, it's time to start sanding the intake seams, ohhhh, flash backs to the 'vintage' Vulcan...........

That’s a novel way to do it, but a very good idea for painting an area that’s difficult to reach and judge whether you’ve painted deep enough.Comment

Thanks everyone for having a look.
Well, my build rate is inversely proportional to the weather. I spend most of my time watering the garden. However, I have done a touch more.
This little lot below, is just waiting for the upper wings to be fitted. I've done a few trial fits and generally, all look good. But it's still quite a job lining everything up. I'll be reverting to good old liquid poly for this part of the build. I'll need a bit of wiggle time.
Moving on to the exhausts, there a lot of parts, all looking very similar. So, Airfix have been quite clever here and numbered the parts. So once removed from the sprue, things shouldn't get mixed up.
