Coming on excellent is this one. Great finish on the bomb load. Really looks like cast metal.

That looks good. I like the panels that don’t fit the camouflage, too.

        Morning Russell,

She is coming on beautifully and it's not helping my urge not to buy one!!

How did you do the dappling? Just stippled the paint or something else?

        ATB.

Andrew, I stippled the bombs with glue using the thicker tamiya glue and let it dry. Then, sand it back to the desired effect, paint and then wash with green/brown. I must engage brain more though. A) I should have painted the yellow lines or b) at least measured the distance so all the lines were in the same place! But with the bomb bay doors on and spending most of its life on its wheels it won’t matter too much. Still, every model I learn something new to try and remember for next time. Touch of weathering today.

Of course!!! Have used that technique more than once myself.......doh!!!

As you say I wouldn't worry about the stripes, they're not off by much, you won't see them and I'm sure there was a bit of room for error in the factories...

                Again, very well done indeed.

In the final throes. Just need a new canopy…other than that, think it’s done.Click image for larger version
